Oh, that's a smart way of doing it. I should probably start getting separate files too; but usually I'm content with just having the raw txt documents lying around; even if I do do a lot of editing once something has been published (and after a billion mistakes pop out at me...).
I do blogger backups where it gives you the XML file, but I should start doing this too, thanks for the suggestion.
Apparently some of my stuff has already been backed up by others, that's validating to see lol...
